Description
AED, or Automated External Defibrillator, is a portable emergency device available to the public, mainly used to treat cardiac arrest.
It can automatically analyze the electrocardiogram obtained through electrodes placed on the patient’s skin and identify shockable heart rhythms. When a shockable heart rhythm is detected, it will automatically perform defibrillation.

Automated External Defibrillator: To understand AED, we must first understand the cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest refers to the sudden termination of the heart’s ejaculation function.
1.Portability:
AED devices are usually small and lightweight, making them easy to carry to various public where cardiac arrest may occur.
2.Simple operation:
Non-professionals who have received simple training can also operate it. The device has clear voice prompts and an intuitive operation interface to guide users to complete the first aid steps step by step.
3.Intelligent analysis:
It can automatically analyze the patient’s electrocardiogram and quickly and accurately determine whether electric shock defibrillation is needed.
4.High safety:
Electric shock will only be released when a shockable heart rhythm is detected, reducing the risk of secondary injury to the patient due to misoperation.
5.Quick response:
It can complete preparations and give diagnostic results in a short time, buying precious time for rescue. Usually, the whole process from powering on to preparing for defibrillation can be completed within one minute.
Advantages:
AED is designed to be easy for non-professional medical personnel to operate. It has clear voice prompts and an intuitive operation interface that can guide users step by step through the defibrillation process.
2.Quick response:
For patients with sudden cardiac arrest, every second is critical. AED can quickly analyze the patient’s heart rhythm and quickly release electric shock when necessary to buy precious rescue time.
3. Improve survival rate:
Studies have shown that using AED within a few minutes of cardiac arrest can greatly increase the patient’s chance of survival.
4. Wide applicability:
AED is suitable for patients of all ages and different health conditions. As long as there is a defibrillable arrhythmia, they may benefit from it.
5. Portability:
AED devices are usually small in size and light in weight, making them easy to carry and deploy in different places. Whether in airports, shopping malls, schools or communities, they can be easily equipped and used.
